Creating websites that tell a brand story
A website is the one brand asset people navigate rather than observe. Sequence, pacing, and restraint end up doing most of the storytelling — long before any individual screen is admired.
Structure is narrative
Order is an argument
What appears first sets the premise; what follows either supports it or dilutes it. Most weak pages are not ugly — they are simply arguing badly, one section at a time.
Motion should clarify, not perform
Animation earns its place when it explains a relationship: where something came from, what changed, what is now in focus. Motion that only demonstrates capability adds load without adding meaning.

Leave room for the message
Whitespace is not emptiness. It is the contrast that lets the important thing register as important.
A page that says three things clearly will outperform one that says nine things at the same volume, every time.
Before adding another section, it is worth asking: What is this page actually trying to make someone believe?
